Definitely get it checked out with your local GP or your gynaecologist. You may need to have a Dilatation and Curettage, done in day procedure units, due to there being some build up left inside your uterus. If that is not the case then perhaps it is due to beginning the pill, it can upset your system for some time until it levels out in your body (up to 4 weeks).
In any case, definitely get it checked out.
Meantime, try some low strength pain killers that you aren't allergic to. A warm pack or a salt bath (1/4 cup salt in warm bath) and put your feet up, rest a pillow beneath your knees.
If the following occurs go to the hospital.
Signs of infection: Pain
Bloating
Bleeding
Temperature (fever)
Shivering
Go to the hospital right then and there.

You could have an infection that just started from all the stuff that happened. Make sure you call your OB/GYN or if you don't have one a General MD would do. They may have to do a D&C, to correct anything going on out of the ordinary. Good luck!

P.S. If you are running a temp, you really need to see your dr.
