It depends on what you're looking for. Generally, if you're looking for basic everyday news, you can visit sites like CNN.com, MSN.com, Yahoo.com, etc.
If you're looking for celebrity gossip, there's an entire slew of those sites out there: DeansPlanet.com, PerezHilton.com, HollywoodTuna.com, etc.
If you're looking for more unique websites, like for example news regarding science, the paranormal, etc. I highly suggest visiting www.Unexplained-Mysteries.com - VERY good website!

Have you tried websites like CNN.com or MSNBC.com, etc. If you look at the same event written from each point of view, you are more likely to get the answers you want than any other way. It also will help you form your own opinion on these events.
