I have a SanDisk Sansa m230 player and the software that comes with it auto installed Windows Media Player 10. I Have ripped some songs onto WMP and when I try to sync them to the MP3 player, WMP says it does not detect a device. My computer recognizes it and says it is installed and ready to go...I don't get it...what am I doing wrong?

WMP 10 detects my iPod shuffle, and will transfer songs to it, but screws up the files and I have to reset it back to default... however I have no problem using the latest version of WinAMP to sync songs. WinAMP in my opinion is a much better player and uses a lot less system resources.

All SanDisk Players show up as a Drive in My Computer. So you can double click on My Computer and the SanDISK and copy the files.

Hope this helped you. If you still need further clarifications please get back to me.
