a typical car gets 30 mpg of gas & drives 12000 mi per yr. assuming that octane (C8H18 density 0.07025) is a principal component of gasoline;
a. how much oxygen is required for a car to run for 1 yr?
b. how many grams of CO2 is produced by a car in 1yr?

the chemical formula for gasoline is :
2 C8H18 + 25 O2 -> 18 H2O + 16 CO2

Does anyone know where I can buy coriander root in San Diego?

I am making Thai food and one of the ingredients calls for coriander root. I couldn't find it in the produce section or Asian foods isle at Ralphs. All I could find is ground coriander. Does anyone know where I can buy this ingredient or if there are any Thai markets in San Diego? Thanks.

What is a pilot's speed pill?

Someone said that American pilots aren't allowed to fly without thier "speed pills". Did this have an effect on the recent incident of freindly fire where it was finally, 3 years later, revealed that American pilots had bombed and killed a British soldier in Iraq?

ok, me and my boyfriend just got together last week. he told me yesterday that at our last dance, winter formal, where he was my date, he kissed another girl. we weren't together yet though so i don't know if i should be mad at him or not. I know we weren't together but i'm just confused why he would kiss another girl right before he asked me out, especially when she wasn't his date and she had her own date at the dance.

Computer Cannot Read Files On DVD!!!!!?

I backed up my files with Nero 7 Ultra Edition. And then I restored my comptuer and then when i put the dvd in to resoter the files on my comptuer but my comptuer see's it as a blank DVD. PLease help me resolve this. Its DVD-R if u want to know.

I am going back to school after serving the last 8 years in the Army. Should I get a part-time job or a loan?

I am 27 and married. I don't have a lot of bills, but my wife is demanding that I get a job. I would rather take a loan for college and get a divorce before getting a crappy part-time job that pays nothing. I have managed a business in the past and was a staff sergeant in the Army, so I have always made good money. Can anyone tell me why I should keep scraping bottom and get a part-time job too? This is the last semester I can work before my classes interfere with a job. I know student loans can haunt you later, but is it worth going to school full time AND working?
