ok, me and my boyfriend just got together last week. he told me yesterday that at our last dance, winter formal, where he was my date, he kissed another girl. we weren't together yet though so i don't know if i should be mad at him or not. I know we weren't together but i'm just confused why he would kiss another girl right before he asked me out, especially when she wasn't his date and she had her own date at the dance.
Plz help, i'm so confused...

well when you think of it, you wouldn't want him mad at you for something that you did with someone else before you were together, so I think that you should relax, & just let it be. It is the past. But in the future, be careful of what he may do behind your back. Seems like he might have an eye for the ladies. But don't hold that eventful kiss against him.

1st off, it was a mistake for him to share that with you. I'm not encouraging dishonesty, but that tidbit didn't help your relationship together...oh well, live and learn.
Now, on to your question:
As posted above, what happend BEFORE you guys got together is the past, and that can't be changed. I would imagine that you've got some "romantic" history too, even if it's minor stuff. You need to get over it and not let it bother you.
Look, I've been with my wife for 10 years. We both had some history before we met at the age of 25. While we may wish we were in some sort of magic bubble up until that point, that's not real life. I asked my wife when we started going out that I did NOT want to know details about her past...can't change it, so why worry about it? I'm better for it. YOU will be too!
You sounds young and I doubt you'll end up with this guy, but take my advice and agree to MINIMIZE the romantic history you share with future mates. Life's to short to worry about junk like this.

Girl please. It was before you guys got together so everybody was fair game. Dont be mad, just let it go. IF it happens again, kick his ***. Why did he do it because he is a man. And a lot of men will do it if its there. that girl may have been somebody he liked before just be glad that he got that out of his system before he got with you. I mean think of it like this if he asked you out after he kissed her than she must not have been that good. it may have even turned him off of her and made him appreciate you more. Sometimes we have to let them be men for them to see what they really want.

Up until the moment he asked you out, it is really none of your business what he has done unless it directly effects you which in this case it doesn't. Focus on the fact that he asked you out and have a good time. Easy as that!

He's come clean, so he knows he messed up.
Give him a chance to be a good guy, but keep an eye out for signs of cheating.

It was probably an impulse. The fact that he was honest with you shows that he likes you and wants your trust. I wouldn't worry about it.

if you two had'nt gotten together yet i wouldnt worry about it. i would only worry about what he does since you've gotten together that's what counts anyway isnt it.
