I am not asking for agreement just for the citations, my hope is to use it in a sermon, hopefully tomorrow morning.

Let me express GREAT APPRECIATION for the responses on Mormonism. They were so fast and interesting. I can't believe the answers could be written so quickly, and be so factual, interesting, and to the point.

Very grateful for FANTASTIC ANSWERS.

Yes, there is a lot in the Bible that tells us it is a closed book (in the sense that it is complete) including the very last word in Revelation: "Amen." (meaning "So be it.")

Also, I think in Deut. it says (about the Word of God) that "nothing shall be added or taken away."

Good question to ask!

I know of no scripture saying the Bible is closed. Why can't we have modern revelations? 2000 years later, the world needs God more than ever, and the heavens are closed? Is not the answers to prayers revelations?

Again, I say, if your loving "God" is kicking you out of the house with "don't ask me, I ain't telling," as his last word, then I don't want your god.

Never heard this lie before, but Danial was a closed book until recently. God told Danial to seal up the book until the end times. Now, it's an open book for all to understand.

With all due respect why are you giving a sermon on something you don't understand yourself?
