girls, how much do looks count?

Ive been called a pretty boy tons over the yrs or very good looking by many girls. Im not bragging but I feel i wouldnt be able to date as many girls if i wasnt that great looking. so my question is how much do looks count for girls to be initially interested in a guy?

I'm a Gay man with mostly friend's that are girls and I can tell you that of all the beautiful Women I know. they think much differently then Men. They are not as shallow as we can be. My beautiful friend's have been in relationships with guys I thought were hideous. It seemed like most of all my friend's enjoyed being wooed, treated like a lady and laughing!

Honestly, it's not looks so much as it is confidence. Confidence is THE MOST attractive thing to a lot of women. That is why you occasionally see a dorky looking guy with all the gals, he has a GREAT attitude and confidence.

Now, as for pretty boys, well it sounds like you are overly confident. That is good, but make sure you have substance to back it up. At the end of the day, we are all gonna look like raisins so you'd hope your wife has someone she enjoys talking to.


I am glad you are attractive, it helps, but it is your confidence in your desirabliity that is getting ya the chicks!

Okay, this is coming from experience. When you are younger looks are interesting but if that person only cares about their looks and not the company they keep, smart girls know right away this is not the cat for them.
So you are likely to end up with a dumb bunny if you care only about your looks.
When you become more wise, you realize it is not about looks but personality. Most girls love funny, intelligent, caring guys. Those are the smart and lucky girls.
So....be smart, be yourself, find humor where there may be none. And you will find the girl of your dreams. Or she will find you.
Oh and always wear protection, when you are ready! 36 I hope. LOL!

Well, obviously there has to be some initial attraction to even get the ball rolling and that can mean something different for everyone, but after the initial attraction wears off, there has got to be something more like intelligence, compassion, a sense of humor, etc. I've dated a few gorgeous GQ types in my life who seemed to think their chiseled looks were all they needed to bring to the table. To be honest, I think that generally speaking, plain or average guys try harder to please a girl and make a relationship work.

Well this kinda a depends on the age. If a girl is younger than looks are all that matters. When girls get old and start to mature they began to focuss on personality. But no matter what looks matter alot

looks are really good pointers for men to be liked by women, but more over, its the acts of the guys that counts more. For me, i guess i like men who are sports lover, intelligent and funny
