My bf is a very busy man and travels alot. Hes always very serious and aggressive at work and thats how he is with me, so cold. But when I do get to see the other side of him, I love that. We had good moments together. He did say he's serious abt me. However, he rarely calls and hates it when I 'bother' him whether he is in the office, outside or overseas. When I voice out my concerns he said im being unreasonable, demanding and childish . I dont want to have negative thoughts but I cant read his mind, what he wants and cant get use to this cold treatment. Im a very affectionate person but hes actions make me feel less important at times and this would eventually drive me away. I do love and want to be with him. Maybe its his nature and maybe he has other ways of showing affection which is so hard to tell. How do I break this 'big piece of ice' without giving wrong signals and damage the relationship further.

Yet so many preachers teach this....here is a famous quote from Jesus on the cross in many translations that "shows" christians go to heaven...he told the theif on the cross in most translations "Truly I say to you, today you will be with me in paradise". However, the original greek text had no punctuation but was added in the translations later on. It should read "Truly I tell you today, you will be with me in paradise". The Bible clearly says that Jesus was in the tomb for 3 days and 3 nights after he died - not Paradise! (By the way this makes it impossible for Jesus to be put in the tomb on Good Friday and be resurrected "Easter Sunday" because it isn't 3 nights. Again, this is more lies from the pulpit.

Ok, so when Valentines Day comes around, the couples obviously show that they are in love, but for the singles, this day is an insult because they don't have someone to be with. Plus it is a day when the man feels obligated to spend his hard owned money to buy his wife some really pricey jewlery, that she will wear a few times in her life, just so she can impress the neighbors (a complete waste of money which could be spent on great things like AIDS, cancer, etc... research). Why in heck was this stupid usless holiday founded!?

The cat eats everything, he's an outside cat. He keeps shaking and sounds like he's trying to throw up but he cant, and when he did, it was white foam/spit. i duno if its rabbies or something else. Maybe someone poisoned him. he barely moves and goes to a corner.pls help!!

What are the qualities that define an American? Has America lost it's identity in regards to culture and it's history up to this point? Has America become the salad bowl instead of the melting pot?

Is there no one thing to assimilate to anymore?

Has America become so politically correct and so afraid to offend that in doing so it has lost it's uniqueness?

my daughter has just told me that her father has touched her inappropriately. as soon as we found out, we called the police. a sheriff came by and my daughter told her about where she was being touched. although she was scared she spoke. i'm proud of her. the sheriff said that my daughter will not be made to go to her dads house (she goes every other weekend). she says that, as far as she is concerned, she is in danger when she is there. i am still in shock. i'm scared for my little girl. what happens next? from what i understand cps will get involved. is it possible that she will have to go back to her dads for the weekend visits?
