i use sugar and body wash mix before i shave or wax and then afterwards i put witch hazel on a washcloth and wipe over just shaved or waxed area. it doesnt burn as bad as alcohol and its cheap. rarely get ingrowns or bumps but on occassion if i do i dab tea tree oil on it with a q-tip. all can get at walmart for less than $10.00

home remedy: put sand in a ziplock bag mixed with some lotion. make sure it is the good sand, not the stuff from your back yard. shak it up really good, then use it as a body scrub. works wonders.
