Who would have loved to see flair beat Jeff Hardy and go to Wrestlemania as Intercontinetal Champ?
I like both of them but I think Flair needs to win one more belt before he retires.

yeah flair deserved to win. i also like both flair and hardy. i would have liked flair to get a 17 time title reign but the intercontinental title is just as good. i guess that's what i say mostly cause i grew up watching flair and i think that hes one of the best ever. and hes got more talent in his pinkie finger than most of the guys in the back put together. was kinda happy when he told Carlito off before the triple threat main event.
actually the thing was that if flair would have won the match he would have gone to WrestleMania and get a title shot. it was a non-title match but he would have gotten a title shot at WrestleMania if he won.

I agree that Flair should've beaten Jeff Hardy on RAW, but you're delirious if you think winning that match would've made Flair Intercontinental Champion. It was a non-title match, and if Flair won, he'd get to challenge Jeff for the belt at WrestleMania.
In Detroit, if Flair had beaten Jeff on RAW to set up the match, I would want to see Jeff win the match the following way: Twist of Fate, Swanton Bomb, and finishing with the Figure-Four Leglock (poetic justice for Jeff, defeating his childhood idol with the idol's signature finisher).
As for Flair winning one more belt before he retires, he should've retired after that feud with Triple H near the end of 2005.

If Flair needs to win one more title before he retires, it should be the World Title or the WWE Title. Nothing else. Why would a 16 time World Champion retire with the Intercontinental Title when he deserves something better?

i have to agree i think that the wwe is basicly not giving flair the push he needs. but i would not like to see him with the ic tittle flair is a legand and should go after cena or hbk not jeff hardy

If Flair is gonna win any title, it will probably be the tag titles. After last night, I would not be suprised if he teamed up with Kenny.
