Your diocesan office will have information on ways to volunteer overseas.

Here is some information from the Archdiocese of Los Angeles Missions website: http://www.missionsla.org/missionhome/missionhome.html

With love in Christ.

I was born Catholic, but not raised that way. As I grew older I learned that the Catholic church was a money hungry organization. If you want to go overseas, i suggest you save the money and pay for it yourself, instead of letting the church-goers foot the bill for your all expense paid trip.

I work for a Catholic Hospital and there are lots of volunteers there. If you had some medical training you might be able to go on a medical mission as well as a spititual one.
