I have a pit and she is being a little stubborn to my training methods. I have now found a trainer in my area and I'm little nervous to take her. This is not my first rodeo of owning or training a pit and I love the breed and have done my research, so please don't make rude remarks. I just wanted the opinions of other people that have taken their dogs to a trainer and if it worked or not?

okay i am a very jealous person and when my gf hangs out with this other girl i get really jealous even though the girl is straight and my gf told me to straighten up but it just seems like she wants to be around her more than me and it hurts me to think that but idk what do you think i should? i've already tried to talk to her about it and she broke up with me and then we got back tother like 6 hours later i mean should i talk to the other girl or what....

I have a nine month old male kitty, and he's just as cute as a button (and purrs whenever you touch him). He just happens to be somewhat destructive! I have venetian blinds on the windows of my apartment, and he chews and plays with them, the string, and completly destroys the blinds! I have several blinds now that I can't close properly and that I'll have to replace when I move; I really need him to stop. He can't possibly be teething anymore...how do I get him to stop biting the blinds? He has plenty of toys around the apartment, as well as two other cats that he raises heck with playing constantly.

I know that my great grandmother was from the eastern regions of china. However even thou, myself have none of these trademarks (my mother and my grandfather did), Even thou i would clarify myself british white, i do have a slight deeper tan skin/yellow pigment to it. What ethnic background box do i tick on application forms etc... ?

I dont want to offend, or be rude. But it has always confused me.

I can't understand why so many teenagers mess up so much and do stuff that can jeopardize or even have serious consequences on their lives. A kid from 13 to 16 years old is perfectly able to weight the consequences of his actions, they know, for example, that drugs and alcohol can ruin their lives, they know that sex can lead to pregnancy. Why do many of them insist n having bad attitudes, on breaking rules that clearly have a reason to exist?
Why is that? Bad parenting? But even with bad parenting a teen can have values and understand the consequences of his/her actions.

My niece is due to start primary school in september yet she is still in nappies and refuses to go anywhere near a potty or toilet. I am asking for advice for my sister who doesn't know what to do.
She has tried many times to train her, using bribes, reward charts etc.
She puts her in normal knickers and her daughter just pees herself everywhere, doesn't seem to notice or care that she has done it. When she needs a poo she goes into a corner to hide.
She has asked the health visitor and doctor but they are not very helpful, just suggesting things she has already done.
THe longest she has done is 3 weeks of just peeing everywhere before she gave up and put the nappies backon.
We know the little girl is not incontinent as she can hold it in when people are around and go into a corner to do it. And she doesn't have special needs, she is very intelligent in most respects.
Is there anything we can do? Will she never use a potty?
By the way she is 31/2 when she starts school she will be 4.

The whole NBA Allstar weekend is going to the craper. Bring back the dunk competitition for everyone to go in and make the stars put on a show that people want to see. Kobe, Lebran, McGrady, Garnet, Anthony, etc in a dunk off, who doesn't want to see that. Are the players that afraid of losing some advertising dollars?

I have a small bed and it is really crowded with her, me, and my husband. She will only sleep with us in our bed. I am tired of getting kicked at night by her and waking up sore because I have no room to sleep. I love her but I need my rest. I am always tired and cranky because I get no sleep. She will not sleep anywhere but with us in our room. And there is no room in my bedroom to put her bed too. I barely have room for my bed and it is small. Would I be a bad mom if I just put her in her bed when it is bedtime and shutting her door and letting her cry? I see no other solution. I have tried EVERYTHING else. I love my daughter so much but I can only take so much.

I want to transfer about 30-40 CDs (from the 1970's & 80's) on to a PC and have all the artist/song/album info without having to enter the information. I'm on dial-up so I can't be connected to the internet the whole time (and the info has to be available offline).
Also I'd prefer something like MP3 format over WMA

I'm not sure what the "technical name is but each time I would access a site, there would be a meter bar that would go from left to right showing the progression the computer was making getting into that site. It was clear down on the bottom of the monitor. I would love to have it back and have no idea on how to retrieve it. Please tell me how to put it back on.

Im curious as to why smaller parties run in Presedential Elections when they are only going to win .1% of the votes. On local or even state I can see why as it helps your policitcal career or whatever. But on a presidential run do these parties do it to enhance their political careers or are their other benifits or are they simply running because they can and believe that doing somethin is better than nothing. ? thanks,
