If you are mean the new fluorescent bulbs which save energy. DO NOT USE WITH DIMMER.

Fluorescent uses a starter to get the gasses hot enough to glow. Cutting the power means the bulb will not glow.

If you are using the dimmer for effects, you need to go with incandescent in these holders or use a different type of lighting.

Good luck

You can't. I have 25 to 30 in my house and have just had to stop using the dimmers. In the lights you use a dimmer on, just use an incandescent bulb.

dimmers just adjust the maximum flow of volts, They still work for energy eff. burlbs, but not as well, as the EE bulbs use less volts/watts to create an equivelent amount of lumens, as you adjust the dimmer, you will get less effect.
