Considering his history, will he pay attention to the millions who will be protesting this illegal and immoral war, in Iraq, tomorrow, or will he order the gustapo to use tear gas and bang some American heads around?

My walls are a royal blue with white trim. We have a light colored hardwood floor and were thinking about getting a dark brown leather sofa with nailhead trim. I am also eyeing a red shag rug to throw into the mix. It's not a bright bright red but not burgundy either. I was thinking about bringing these three colors together but don't know if it will clash. If it doesn't, where would I begin with curtains?? Solids, stripes, dots?? I want long curtains and my husband wants more of a cabin theme but I'm not sure that will work with this color scheme. Any help is appreciated.

You define a fetus as an individual with all rights accorded to an individual - correct? Since you claim that physician assisited abortion is murder you desire to make it illegal. Therefore anyone performing an abortion would be a criminal - correct?

In that case what about spontaneous abortions? These would be helpless "individuals" dying through no fault of their own. Is the mother liable? If you say no, why not? Spontaneous abortions occur sometimes because of viability issues (chromosomal abnormalities, etc) but sometimes for other reasons. Who's responsible for these deaths? Would there be lawsuits from family members because the mom forgot to take her multivitamin during the pregnancy?

For those who want to respond with insults, please don't bother. I'm posing an extension of the logic I see here all the time. If you agree with the logic defend it's extension.

Whenever I go to bathroom, there is this fat guy taking a dump. To make things even more interesting, his dump consists of wierd noises like "piitcumm" "dittcchum" "putch" "tuch" "thrrrrrr" and then smells. I have to cover my nose all the time, how do I get rid of him?

Last week, in a moment of vulnerability and maybe desporation, I cheated on my bf. I said no more than once, yet I let the guy continue (there was no sex). It took me a day to gain the courage to tell him, but I told him everything. He was away on business when it happened, and he left a day after I told him. I told him Monday, he left Wed and he wont be back till Tues. He seemed somewhat okay on Tues and yesterday, but this morning was bad. He can't get the images of me and this other a**hole out of his head. Unfortunately, I work with this guy and I would be more than willing to quit if that's what my bf needed. I will do anything to win him back. We had a stronger relationship than most married couples. I dont understand really why it happened, but I just need to fix it. I love him more than anything. We were going to get engaged soon too. Right now, I just need some help for him. I just want to help him get through this. I could care less about myself. Thank you for your help

There is a bit of Christian wisdom I think we could all benefit from, namely "Hate the sin, love the sinner."
It seems that we're blaming individuals for the way the entire Christian institution behaves, trying to turn religious beliefs into law. Now, with sin being a religious concept, we need a different catchy slogan to make this idea our own. My idea is this: Love the dog, hate the dogma.
(This is in no way calling anyone a dog, but I just liked how the word-play turned out...)
What are your suggestions?

In my post foolish games where I talked about the things my boyfriend does. A commentor tried to bash me for not admitting what I have done so here we go. He's stood me up before & lied & said that he went to jail when he was with another girl. He use to always be at least two hours showing up when he said he was on his way and I would call his phone constantly & he wouldn't answer. I went through his phone & called back one of the numbers that I found & it was another girl that he was pursuing a relationship with. I've followed him more than once & every time I catch him with a different girl. I gave him keys to my apartment & he'd come in whenever he wanted to & most of the time not say a word to me. He always accusing me of lying, even when I tell the truth. He wouldn't even tell me where he lived or where he worked. So yes I was suspicious & followed him. It made me feel better to know the truth & that's why I did it. Was that so wrong that he had to break up with me?

I'm in the Northeast US and had this installed last summer. It's worked great until a few weeks ago. Now when I start up the car the tuner is emitting a high pitched tone (loud enough to be annoying, but not loud enough to drown out the radio/cd/ipod) that goes away after 5-10 minutes. The tone is the same volume, no matter what the radio volume is set too. This appears to have started once the weather got cold. Any ideas on fixing this?

A friend of mine had her child tested privately and the results told her that her kid had a severe learning disability and an IQ of 60. This seems way off to me, her daughter is very observant and engaging. How could she have made it to grade six with none of her teachers noticing any problems and has not been in any resource program?

I know you'll all call me a southern, bigot, racist.

But I just want everyone to know that the Civil War ended in the 1860s. and then "reconstruction" raped the South even further.

Not everyone South of the Mason-Dixon Line is bare foot, with three teeth and a shotgun... except my Grandfather.. and he's a Democrat.

I'm not in favor of Slavery, I'm not racist. I'm just sick of being judged by the area of the country that I was born in. How is that any different than being judged by the color of your skin?

I'm from the South and Proud of it.
