Before you attack me because I haven't had my cat in the vets for five years, remember that he's lived for 17 years and I must be doing something right.

Now for the question. He's 17 years old and we're doing something now that requires all my cats to be current on their vacinations. I hear that vaccinating a cat that old can be fatal. What are the odds of getting the simple vaccinations killing my cat? I could never forgive myself if any thing happened to him and it was my fault. Web sites on vaccinating geriatric cats would be helpful. thanks.

On my new Sony Ericsson K800i, in the top left hand corner of the screen (next to the reception bars) every-so-often there's a symbol that's sort of blue & white, and looks a bit like either white sand or a few slightly thawed scoops of lemon sorbet. What is it? Is seems to come on and off at random times. Can't find it in the manual so please help. I need to know I'm not being charged a ridiculous amount daily.

What are the legal aspects of this in regards to dog containment. My neighbor has no fenced yard and on occasions he has let his dog crap on my yard and im sick of it. The dog also pisses in my bushes. Ive tried to talk to him about it but he told me ive got problems, if thats all im worried about. I've also seen his dog(Irish Setter) without a leash running around the yard, and wandering in my yard. Can the police do anything or is it a waste of my time to notify them? What legally can I do? Thank you

Thought I might set up a Give As You Earn with my work, but don't really know which Charity or Charities I should give to. Please let me have any suggestions and the reasons for choosing them. I can only do it for UK based charities only.
Thanks.
(By the way I'm not talking about giving loads, something like £10-£20 a month)

A young woman was so depressed that she decided to end her life by throwing herself into the ocean. She went down to the docks and was about to leap into the frigid water when a handsome young sailor saw her tottering on the edge of the pier crying. He took pity on her and said, "Look, you've got a lot to live for. I'm off to Europe in the morning, and if you like, I can stow you away on my ship. I'll take good care of you and bring you food every day." Moving closer he slipped his arm round her shoulder and added, "I'll keep you happy, and you'll keep me happy".

The girl nodded yes. After all, what did she have to lose? That night, the sailor brought her aboard and hid her in a lifeboat. From then on every night he brought her three sandwiches and a piece of fruit, and they made passionate love until dawn.Three weeks later, during a routine inspection, she was discovered by the captain.

"What are you doing here?" the Captain asked.

Is there anywhere fairly quiet you could live, but not remote like the Scottish Islands. Where taffic is light, shops and night spots are still reasonably available (maybe within an hour or so), and you can get jobs, but commuting is easy, there are not too many people, there's a community spirit, it's a bit old fashioned. Is there anywhere left?
