Let him go and find a new, better friend and boyfriend. If his head was so easily turned, then he's not someone you really want or who is worth keeping.
As well, if she had something "extra" that he decided you lacked or he just couldn't live without, then it was his responsibility to examine his part in your relationship and how HE (as well as how you two together) might re-energize/re-vitalize your relationship.
If he can't be faithful to you, honest with you, and committed to improving the relationship, much less discussing it, then let him go. He wasn't as worth it as you think. Think of him as a discard or a do-over opportunity.
Indeed, he, and she, have truly done you a favor--to look for someone new AND better.

If you were his girlfriend at the time then ditch the friend and keep your man. if she was a real friend she would have never did that and you know it. it is up to you for what you want to do but i want you to know that is what i would do
