Yes, Venus rotates in opposite direction to that of other planets. It is termed as "Retrograde motion". If viewed from the north pole of the sun, all planets except Venus and uranus rotate in anticlockwise direction and this is termed as "Prograde motion". Its still a puzzle how venus must have got its slow and retrograde motion. But it's an assumption that it might be hit by some heavenly body to change its coarse of roataiton.

ALL the planets orbit (revolve) around the sun in the same direction. Venus *rotates* in the opposite direction of the other planets, but that has nothing to do with its distance from the sun. Astronomers theorize that Venus's axis was tilted over (which resulted in its reverse rotation) when it was hit by a large planetesimal early in its formation.

Venus rotates clockwise or retrograde, the opposite of earth. So the sun would appear to rise in the west and set in the east. It also rotates every slowly so that a day on Venus is about 116 earth days long.

Venus' rotation is in the opposite direction to most other planets, however Uranus can also be considered to be the same, depending on definitions

Yes, it rotates in opposite direction (east to west) to all the other planets, except Uranus.
There is not a clear explanation for that. Maybe tidal effects, supposing it was once closer to the sun. Maybe a big meteorite collision. Nobody knows for certain.

Yes it does - there are different theories as to why this is so but no one knows for certain.
