For years now, I find myself with lots of ideas and goals, and plenty of logical reasons to get on the ball and start executing them, but I find myself easily distracted or procrastinating. I can't seem to break this pattern even when I know it is happening. When I do finally get started on something, I'm focused and make progress for a while, but then the momentum fades quickly.
I find myself being strongly motivated at the wrong times, like when I am driving or needing to get to sleep.
I'm looking for some missing piece in my mind to give me the leverage to get over the hump to give me the fire to get cranking and continue cranking until the project is done.
I believe I have the passion and fire inside me, but it just seems to flicker. I want to find a way to turn it up full blast and put myself into action.
Any insight would be helpful. Thanks in advance.
