No other reason but just being lazy. I belive they also think it works better if someone responds to them with an answer to their question. Then instead of them quoting directly from a book or website it would be in an individuals words and possibly more believable as being their own thoughts. Pretty sad!

From my experience tutoring students, it helps to have a live person "confirm" or summarize answers, in comparison with the written text. This reinforces the ideas, and helps to process the material by interacting with another person. I believe people naturally respond positively to having someone read or explain material personally, and that is why children enjoy having books read and enjoy being taught; we are either designed or conditioned to learn by interacting with each other, especially with "mentors" with more experience and wisdom.
Of course, not all students process the material fully but may work the assignment in a "perfunctory" manner. Because of the trend in the media age of immediate gratification and access to information, many students want fast answers. However, with the advanced ability to interact, I find that students benefit more from processing information through multiple means of interaction available, so overall there is more good than harm.

Actually i would like to beg to differ. I don't think that kids come here to ask questions because they are lazy to do it themselves or search the answer on google.
I personally use this site because i really do not understand certian concepts or how to handle some questions. Sometimes information about the things i don't understand is not easy to find or not aptly explained on the websites that google leads me to.
It's much easier to ask here beacuse you know that whoever gives you the answer will explain it thoroughly and in an easy to understand fashion.
I feel it's quite rude when people tell me that i should do my work myself. Usually kids here aren't asking you to do everything for them. They need pointers and explaination as to how to do it which may not be available at home or in school.
I think you feel that when they ask you a question, they're asking for only the answer. However there are hardworking kids who would like to use this as a resource to learn, not just copy the answer.
It takes a few black sheep to give everyone else a bad name.

As you will see in direction of the top of the college 12 months and since the climate improves outdoors further and further questions are going to get published right here. especially situations young babies are prepared to take the possibility of a incorrect answer to circulate dangle out with there acquaintances. additionally its a lot much less complicated to envision or verify over an answer than that's to come again up with one.

whenever I ask a question here it's only AFTER I double check it in the source my teacher told me to look in, ask my friends, and ask my parents. I don't look online, because teachers always look for a specific answer and the few other times I did look, I was wrong.

they are just lazy. in the time it takes them to waste time typing the question into here, they could type the same damn question into google. unfortunately, some people provide the answers for them, especially in the math part.
hell, i put my time into school, without the use of computers, etc. these kids should too!

I would assume that the kids are having trouble. Personally I Think home work should be banned. Teachers need to teach during class hours. Get there jobs done in the time allotted to them just like the rest of us. Homework, to me says the teachers are not teaching

i think it's because sometimes it's nice to have things that you can't get from textbooks or online like opinions from real people, or an explanation that we can actually understand instead of some genius's explanation that doesn't mean anything to us.
