what say u?
Jade Goody has admitted that fellow Celebrity Big Brother contestant Shilpa Shetty had been subjected to "bullying and racism" in the programme. She told the News of the World her behaviour towards the Bollywood star had been the biggest mistake of her life and she said she is concerned about her family receiving abuse from the public as a result of her behaviour. Jade, 25, said she needed psychological help and that she would only have herself to blame if it spelt the end of her career.

Most mature adults recognise when we have been vile to someoone else. Once we have calmed down and reflect on our actions we recognise that we have caused another person harm or hurt.
Jade had no such cognition until it threatened her own bank balance.
I thought the bullying of Jodie Marsh was particularly atrocious in CBB last year - but I guess she was seen as less deserving of people's empathy/sympathy. Shilpa has come across as a really nice person.
Is this because she geniuely is or because she realises that she has an audience?
I am sick and tired of the glorification of stupidity and ignorance which is symbolised by Jade Goody. Its not her south london accent but her refusal to portray the white working class as anything other than thick and uneducated. It's about time that her and her equally poorly educated boyfriend (did you see when Danielle asked Jade if he could read?) just cleared off.

Yes, it's amazing the amount of denial that took place here. Jade Goody and Shilpa Shetty have subjected all of us to needless worry over this whole ordeal which has kept me awake at nights trying to keep up with the latest news. Do you have any later news on this ongoing saga? Keep us informed as soon as you hear anything, o.k.? I can't wait to know.

Conversation in my local newsagents, watched the reactions of fellow shoppers, basically the facial expressions were in my humble opinion "oh here we go again", indeed, do bb participants forget that there is a significant audience watching and recalling their every sightly action in the house? Would you really behave like so in public because that was where they were. What are the factors that lead to such colossal loss of self control, obviously people are going to heavily criticise because she is over 18 not 5.

Look go to India as an ethnic minority and you will almost certainly be made not to feel welcomed. Source: Many Indian people have told me this.
Indian soicety is being hypocritical. They are both racist to their own people - e.g the lower castes and the darker skinned Indians within their own country and they are racist towards other darker skinned races.
I read an interview in the Daily Mail yesterday where Shilpa's mother admitted that their daughter was plain lookingwhen she was younger "because she was darker skinned than her sister"! What sort of rubbish is that!!!!

I just cannot believe that there have been people killed in different ways over the past few days in accidents etc and the first thing to come on the news is the Big Brother fiasco. I think we need to get our priorities right.

She's only saying that stuff because she was filmed saying it and the public's reaction. She doesn't need a shrink to tell her that she's a hateful cow that doesn't deserve to be on tv anyway. She's just backpedaling, plain & simple. Whatever career she had is now (thank God!) over.

why do people read the news papers can anyone see she is in shock and being told what to say i think jade is amazed how much publicity this has cause and the person she said it to is OK with it so why is everyone over reacting about it the thing people don't realise is that she doesn't need her career anymore she has got enough money to retire anyway what has the world come to when a girl has called another girl a poppadom and has a argument ,,,,,is this more important then people being killed by bombers or the storms a 15 year old killed with a hammer whilst in school ,,,,,,,,,,,there is something not right about all this aim beginning to think who is being bullied,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
