I just bought a new filter and it has the new "bio-fiber" stuff on it. When I read the package for it, it said that it removes dissolved waste and nitrite. But don't fish need nitrite to grow? I want my fish to grow. I have 4 aquariums each with only common goldfish, 2 10-gallons, 2 20-gallons. 10 gallons with 2 and 20 with 3 fish. I want my fish to grow, but I also want an efficient filter. What can I do?

So I'm trying to get within a healthy weight range for my height and body but I'm having trouble with the the eating part. I've started walking for 20min.(1 mile)at least 3 times a week. I'm going to try and work in some weight training 2-3 times a week later on. What I'm looking for is a good diet that I can change into a lifestyle way of eating. I hear about all these fad diets like Jenny Craig and Weight Watchers but they don't sound like something I could do for the rest of my life. I don't have a lot of time to fix meals, so I could use some easy meal tips that I could fix ahead of time. I joined sparkpeople but I didn't like the diet plan it had. Thanx!

i have a problem with a "not so fresh feeling" a lot. I spread my *** cheeks when i take a dump, to prevent smearing. But i still end up with an irritated anus. I hate to have to carry baby wipes around. any thoughts?

Just curious what some of my fellow Democrats would like to see done over the next couple of years. I would like to see the Dems:

1. Force Bush into creating a timetable for Iraq before approving more funding.
2. Have lengthy and thorough hearings into what the hell happened in Iraq, the justifications for going there, who prepetuated the lies that were told to Americans to justify the war, and whether intel that did not support the war was hidden or disregarded.
3. Develop plans to ensure the safety of Americans by investing all of the money we are wasting on the war into securing America from the inside. There are always going to be people that hate America, so we must protect ourselves from attack in a logical manner, not by randomly invading other countries.

These are a couple of the things I would like to see done between now and when the Dems get the presidency back in '08. Unless we start kicking butt in Iraq, the Republicans have no shot in '08. Way to go Bush!!

I'm 22 and still having bad man troubles!
I recently spent the weekend with the most fab bloke who's a friend of a friend from her home town, we went out and had a few drinks watched a football match and during half time he kissed me on the lips to which I was slightly dumbfounded and he said he liked me, my mother then called and he asked to talk to her so I let him talk to her for a bit. After the football we met up with some of his friends who he introduced me to and we went for a drink the whole time he held my hand and made sure I was ok. We then spent the night at his watching movies and then some more kissing. I went back home the next day and we talked a little on msn and seemed ok, I then told him I wanted him and did he want me but in a non sexual way I meant as in g.friend and he said would have to see how it worked out between now and the next time we see each other, he said that he was interested cuz wouldnt have bothered kissing me...HELP what's this mean

Can you be married to someone which whom you have no passion with or for? I believe that I may be miserable forever if I marry someone who, mechanically, can be a great partner for marriage (ie- instilling morals and lessons into children, providing the other half of a home that I don't) but I have no connection to, intimately or passionately. We can have a good partnership for tasks BUT I don't feel how beautiful he is when I look in his eyes, I don't make the connection people do when they realize how brilliant their love is when they look into the face of the one they love- when we kiss I don't yearn for another, I don't feel anything. Have you experienced this? How? What do you make of this? Is it possible to live this way? Is there an alleviation? You can't just go to the store and buy this and I can't force myself to feel passion when it is only something that comes naturally for me depending on the person...
