When Jesus returns, all the people who will be saved will be changed in an instant to spiritual beings, eternal ones.

The human race will never end. neither will the earth, but it will be changed .....
first there will be a 7 year tribulation. the first 3.5 years of it will be peacefull, the second half will be horible with one man ruling the one world government. an thus the whole world. then the battle of armigenon, then the melenial (spelled wrong) period, a melenium of peace.then a "little season" then the white throne judgement. then an eternity of peace with no sin. (heaven). just incase my memory fails me, the battle might be after the melenial period. dont htink so though.
after the white throne jugement a firely ferverant will flow through the heavens (the universe) and remake everything. there will no longer be large bodies of water on the earth, the oceans, i think we will still have large lakes, just o oceans, i think.

Thankfully it won't- remember the scripture about the 'meek inheriting the earth'? Psalm 37:10, "For yet a little while, and the evildoers will be no more; though you look with care where they used to be, they will not be found. 11But the meek [in the end] shall inherit the earth and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace."
So it's the unrighteous who will be destroyed, not all mankind and the earth. This will happen at Armageddon, God's war to end all wickedness. God started mankind in the garden of Eden where they were to live forever, but Adam and Eve sinned, bringing death upon themselves and their offspring. Did God's purpose change? The human race will end when we kill ourselves. Most likely from pollution but possibly in a war.
The world will end when the sun expands and burns the inner planets in a couple billion years from now.

The world and the human race shall end at a time of the Lord's choosing. On which day shall all living beings brought back to life and will be put to account for all their deeds in this life.
On that day will man experience fear like he never experience before for he will realize his terrible folly of ignoring the Lord all his life long when he had the chance. He will then ask God for forgiveness and proclaim to Him, "God I believe in you now, please forgive me". Alas a little too late.
