if someone works with a recruiter for a job in finance, the employer hiring will pay a fee to the recruiting firm when the candidate is placed. Is the fee reflective of a decrease in salary to the candidate. so as to say if the firm hired that same individual without using a recruiter they would have received a salary 25% higher than what they were given since there was a recruiter involved??

I have dark brown hair w/ natural dark (and i mean VERY dark) red lowlights, dark brown eyes, and olivey/beigy skin. i live in slough and think its perfectly alright. some areas are a bit rough but there is rough areas in every city/town. i originally come from west drayton and even if you paid me a million pounds i'd never live there again. why does everyone think that slough is full of scumbags and an awful place to live? there are some really nice, quiet areas with very nice people living there. how did slough get its bad name?!

I just had a thoracotomy to remove a metastatic thyroid cancer node from near my heart. Now 6 days later I am l having eye problems. When I look around I can actually see dots that seem to pulsate with every heartbeat. My blood pressure is normal and my pulse is not high either does anyone know what is causing me to see this? I have had some headaches too since the surgery. Can you help>

I'm a native Spanish speaker, but it's more like Tex-Mex around here. I need to know the proper way to say "mini-blinds." I'm talking about the horizontal white blinds that you put on windows. I use "cortinas" but that's technically "curtains," I think. Thanks for any input!
