seems strange to me we are not allowed to know all the facts about Dianas death, yet we are basically given a full recipe and electrical layout in the daily express on how to make a bomb, is this stupidity at its best?

The newspapers leave out some key elements from the bomb making process, the plans the issue might produce a realistic looking device - but it will probably just fizz a lot, or do nothing at all.

Recipies for making explosives from easy to buy ingredients are all over the web - and it doesn't take much technical know-how to construct a trigger from an alarm clock or mobile phone. All the newspapers are doing is trying to look clever to their normal readership. If anyone actually wanted to build an explosive device they could find out without reading the Daily Express.

You can also buy books giving you full instructions (I was told by a reliable person who works in a bookshop) but publishing it in a cheap and readily available newspaper seems to be taking irresponsibility to new levels.

You are not wrong - the media should not be talking about concentrations or any other bloody specific detail of these things - this is like the Falklands where the ******* media told the Argies their shells were not exploding - the British Navy was not happy about this.

This information is freely available on the intraweb. There are many nutters posting detailed instructions. As for MI5 surveillance, earlier answer, I doubt it . Even if they picked up your details they are so incompetent as to be a laughing stock.
