Did everyone prior to Jesus end up in Hell or did God give them a reprieve? Frankly, it's impossible to accept Christ as your personal savior if he hadn't existed yet?

Yes, all people born before the Christian movement went to Hell only to be reborn as fundamentalist Christians.

They were punished for not knowing about Christ/God before he "existed" by being further punished for not knowing there is no God/Christ after he "existed."

Jesus was always going to be the savior, he was around and had a hand in creation itself! Prior to Jesus, people were under the law yet were saved very much the same way we are in the New Testament, saved by Gods grace through faith. Later God would teach us that this forgiveness is brought to us in Jesus and every knee will bow, willingly or not.

listen, Allah almighty was the savior and he is the only god. Jesus was just a messenger for example, can jesus make night a day and day a night? or tell me that do jesus even say that he is god???
that can be a question but try to understand, he was a messenger, we believe in him too. God is not like human being and how can he be, if god is human being that what can be the difference between god and man. god can be light which burns inside of man heart. and do a human have that power to make a statue first and then give life to it. and if god is not a man then how come he have a son. If we believe in god then we have to believe in mericals too. jesus birth was a merical too and it was better for those people too who were walking in a dark place. If you need all the answers of your questions then read quran, it will not gonna make you a muslim but gonna improve your knowledge. and ibet, you will not gonnahave any question about religion anymore after reading Quran!!!

Before Jesus the people of God looked forward to a Savior who would redeem them. This they called the Messiah.

Salvation was always from God. Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, David, Solomon, and all the prophets were all people of God and all were saved before Jesus. This was because they put their faith in the one who was to come. They worship the true God and God recognized them.

The Jewish people were not Christians prior to HIS Resurrection and ascension. They will be judged from The Old Law (Testament). Each and every person will be judged according to their own time frame. I am not certain about the gentiles of that day. They were not required to live by the Old Testament. Have a great week.

:
Rom 2:11-16
For there is no respect of persons with God.

12 For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law;

13(For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.

14 For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves:

15 Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;)

16 In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.

But if you have heard of Him (which you have) and reject Him, you have no excuse.

God was the saviour, The Jews had to sacrifice certain things(like a goat) or burn thinggs in offerings to Him for reprieval of their sins. Just like Jesus' death(the sacrifice of total sins) denounces our sins if we repent.

All the good folk of the old testament prior to Jesus went to Limbo, heaven was unoccupied prior to Jesus. I think they were then given a pass and bused to Heaven.

I believe strict Christian doctrine is they all went to Hell. In his Inferno, Dante places good pagans/Hebrews in a semi-Heaven called Limbo.

Israel had their priests when giving sacrifices. But they were always looking for a messiah to come save them.
