I'm thinking about going into isolation for a certain period of time. People are really wearing on me, right now. I'm tired and frustrated. I think some time away from everyone would help me. I'm thinking about staying indoors for a week or so to "recharge". Think this would be beneficial?

That sounds like a reasonable space of time to relax, and clear the mind.

Enjoy it, that sounds great.

Good Idea, but I would go to nature, but that is a personal preference. I envy your ability to drop everything and recluse.

Even Jesus went to be alone and pray in private. He also fasted 40 days before his ministry officially began.

Good luck.

an actual "fast" is when you give up something you like. However, I think it sounds like a great idea, wish I could go too!

Peace be with you.
