I went to a movie recently and was bombarded with 20 minutes worth of commercials before it began. I don't mind previews, but Coke? cars? Skittles? Fruitopia? I came to the movies so I could avoid this crap.

I have a 6 month old kitten and I just changed her food from Purina Kitten chow to Purina For all age cats (which says it includes kittens)... Now she has liquid stools but still remains playful and happy. Also, I know its odd but she's had strings and hairballs hanging out of her rear . I with held her food for 24 hours and reintroduced her half kitten food/half all age food - still the same problem, (diarrhea and hairballs from her hole). Any solutions?

I was 12 now 23 my mother told us 5 that we ruined her life and if she had it to do again she would have never adopted 5 kids. We were great kids everyone always said so . She died in my mind that day and I have hated her (not loved her since) but why does it hurt so much. It is crippling my life. She is on lots of meds too so I understand the why and some how for factors but how do I rid myself of all the hate that is eating me up and crippling my daily emotional life. I can't keep friends anymore because everytime I have an encounter with her I get psycho and cold. All cold. My boyfriend calls me sweet and sour because when I talk to her I go ice. It hurts him and me cause i hurt him and i am tired of being angry. But she is still pissing me off and emotionally damaging my younger brothers. Fear and intimidation are her parenting tools along with manipulation and head games. She is shifty and gets what she wants. Treats other people better than her own. I want to feel and love???

i chased my best friend who i had a crush on for years, 9 to be exact, i told her how i felt about her like 4 times throughout. unfortunately, she didn't feel the same way. rejection has always been a close friend of mine. i really believed i could show her eventually that no other guy alive could love and care for her the way i could. but for some reason, she wanted the guys who end up in prison or america's most wanted list, they didn't care about her, they just wanted sex. well anyway, i just called off the friendship about 2 weeks ago and it was one of the hardest things i've ever had to do. now i feel like crap all the time. she broke my already unstable and fragile heart. so i just wanted to know if it was possible to lose interest in girls altogether? i mean, i'm not gay, or even bi, but just altogether give up on looking for that special someone?

An Englishman was touring the Irish countryside and got lost. He saw a farmer Mike, working in his field and stopped for directions.

Mike told him the directions back to his place.

The Englishman wanted to talk a bit so he asked Mike, "Is this your farm?"

"Yep", Mike answered.

"How big is it?" asked the Englishman.

"Well, it starts down the road there where the creek is and follows the creek up and over the hill to about where you can see that big tree. Then it runs across back of the barn to a big pile of stones up yonder and then down along the fence there to the road up that way."

The Englishman smiled and said, "Well, that's a nice place. Let me tell you about my place at Norfolk (England). I can get into my car and start out from one end of my property just as the sun is coming up in the east. I can drive all-day and just as the sun is setting in the west I reach to other end of my ranch. What do you think of that?"

Mike thought for a second or two, and then said, "I had a car like that once."

Episode 11 promises to be scandalous!
But have you been to bravo's website?
Apparently starting this week (right after Top Chef) there's going to be a 20 minute online interview. This weeks guest will be none other than Gail Simmons (TC Judge, who looks mysteriously like the original star of "The Stepford Wives")

Will you be watching the encore showing ? or will you be at the "online interview" ?

I was soooo disappointed by the ending, not to mention unable to sleep. If it doesn't have a happy ending, or at least a death with meaning at the ending, what's the point? That's 2 hours of my life I'll never get back!

34,452 Iraq civilians said killed in '06 By HURST, Associated Press Writer

BAGHDAD, Iraq - Twin car bombs tore through a leading Baghdad university as students left classes Tuesday in the deadliest attack in Iraq in nearly two months, and the United Nations reported 34,452 civilians were slain last year, nearly three times more than the United States government reported.

A total of 142 Iraqis were killed or found dead Tuesday, in what appeared to be a renewed campaign of Sunni insurgent violence against Shiite targets. The sharp uptick in deadly attacks coincided with the release of U.N. figures that showed an average of 94 civilians died each day in sectarian bloodshed in 2006. This proves the United States is going down like Vietnam. This is very shameful.

The pressures of today's world are quite different than when I was growing up. I see kids really needing to develop skill sets to become healthy, productive, and law-abiding citizens of this country. More and more they need to be able to learn to think for themselves. We as parents need to give them really good tools in order to be able to do this. They need a) critical thinking skills b)creative problem solving abilities C) effective communication skills, particularly effective listening. In short, the world has become increasingly more competetive. We are short-changing are kids by using simplistic methods of child rearing like spanking. WE are not helping thm be ready for what's to come.
I'm not an advocate of corporal punishment to begin with, but I feel even more strongly about it with today's children.

Kids need to be taught how to think, not what to think.

I'm also a firm believer in the "7 Habits of Highly Effective People", by Stephen Covey
