I think I am having a big crush on this bloke in my classes and I feel like a total idiot. Like a sixth-grader. Is it childish to have crushes in college? I have not had one for years

No it's not childish at all!!
Everyone has crushes... even in their 30s or 40s and so on.
Feelings are feelings. We can't control them.
Before a relationship starts, don't you usually crush on the person first?

Nope, I still get them at 59. It is called a crush but it is really only an interest in someone---just used a different word. Hope you have lots more crushes in your life.
