Somebody bright and young - please help a little old lady out with this! I have tried and tried but apparently I just can't do it. I was never good at maths, even at school. So here goes:

22 carat gold contains 22 parts of gold and 2 parts of other materials.
14 carat gold contains 14 parts of pure gold and 10 parts of other materials.
If we have 15 grams of 14 carat gold, how many grams of 22 carat gold would we get for it? (The stuff that counts is pure gold).
Could you also show how its calculated?

My poor dog is always low on food since the bigger birds (pidgeons, doves) are always on the porch in his food and water bowls! I have a galvanized planter for dog food, and a galvanized 5 gal bucket for water, and those birds just eat all his food!! What can I do to keep them out of his food and off the porch? I really don't want them in my yard at all, so I will not put out a feeder. There are too many pidgeons around our area.

We've been together for 2 years. One year ago, he told me I had pressured him into telling me he loved me, so he took it back. We changed some of the ways we do things and communicate, and things are going great. He will write I love you and acts like he loves me, but he will not say it. When I ask him how he feels, he says he won't be pressured again, and when the time is right, he will say it again. IT"S BEEN 2 YEARS with no true I LOVE YOU!! Someone might have asked this, or I'm just a complete idiot, but if you complete a Associates at a Junior College, when you go to a University, do you have to go an extra four yours to get a B.A. or just two (in speaking, I mean a 4 year degree)?
