Its really hard to say anything in medicine is "proven" by any means.
There can be studies and there can be conclusions and then more research. However, the topic has been looked into...check the link.

I don't know of any link between sexual activity and prostate cancer, but there have been some recent studies linking BPH (benign prostatic hypertrophy). For every study that claims a correlation exists between frequency of ejaculation and prostate size, there are many others that dispute any such relationship. Who knows?
