Keep it the same date.....hppefully you won't be in labor...the funny thing is my sister went into labor on her shower date....I stayed at the shower and opened all the presents and we taped it for her....we had lots of out of towners and they were all happy because they got to visit her in the hospital...many of whom wouldnt have been able to if she had it at a later time....Hope this helps and congrats sweetie!

It is very possiable to have the baby before the bbay shower and it sucks. My friend had that happen to her last year. I say to jsut make sure you have pleanty of diapers clothes and baby wipes just incase. I would say a car seat but I am sure someone eill get you one at the baby shower so I can suggest getting a used one just incase. Just get a cheep one so that you would not have waisted a lot of money if you don't have the baby early. Other then that you don't really need a crib the first few weeks the baby can sleep in bed with you or a clothes basket. Good luck with it and I hope it all works out for you!

Maybe you should just have the baby shower after the baby is born it sounds a little crazy but your family will be there and you wont have to worry about the baby coming to earlyor you could just let the mothers do what they want for the baby shower and you just sit back and watch and not say anything.

Hello, first off congratulations on the pregnancy! O.k. I think you should let them know that you may have the baby early, but I also think you should follow through with the plans for the baby shower, There is another option to postpone the shower until AFTER you have your baby! That could work to, and would prob. be your best bet! Good luck and I hope everything works out for you! Just talk to your mom and mother-in-law and see what she is willing to do.

Just go along with your family plans for the shower. The baby will come whenever he feels ready. enjoy the time you have while you become a mother. There will be plenty more to stress about after the baby is born.

I wouldn't worry about it. If you are just going by your dreams, there is no reason to think that it is actually going to happen. Unless you are psychic--I mean that seriously. If you should go into labor and have the baby before the shower, at least you know you will be getting a lot of gifts anyway. Don't worry yourself with things like that this close to the end of your pregnancy. Everything will be fine.

This world would even more so be a crazy place if everyone made decisions based on dreams they were having. Stop stressing about having your baby early and enjoy your pregnancy. The best thing you can do for your baby now is be positive and get ready for his/her arrival. Baby showers can happen before or after the baby's arrival - it really is one of the smaller details in the grand scheme of things.

I dont think it makes a difference when you have the shower and if it happens to be after the baby is born look at it from the bright side how many babies are at their own babyshower lol well good luck and hope your plans go as you have set them

Dreams are just that, dreams. While they sometimes provide an interesting view in to the future, more often then not they are just a conveyance of our own personal fears. I would continue with things the way they are. If the baby becomes before then no one can get mad at you about.

well just go for the baby shower. you never know what will happen. the baby might come early or not. if you cancle the baby shower and the baby doesn't come, i guess it would make them sad. but if you keep going with the baby shower and the baby comes out early, then they can't get mad at you because it is something you couldn't prevent.

I would do things as planned. What a blessing if it's true....to have out of town relatives being able to see your new bundle of joy while visiting! They will get to spend quality time with Mommy & Baby! Congrats on your new edition to the family! You're truly blessed......stop worrying about things out of your control! It's not good for you or your unborn.......just relax and enjoy this gift from God! Enjoy it for me too, I'm 31, unable to have children of my own (hysterectomy at 25)Enjoy every minute you're blessed with being pregnant! There's nothing else that matters! God Bless!
