Why is it such a difficult concept for people to believe we could live forever in paradise on earth? (Ps 37:10,11,22,27-29,34)

10 And just a little while longer, and the wicked one will be no more; And you will certainly give attention to his place, and he will not be. 11 But the meek ones themselves will possess the earth, And they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace. 22 For those being blessed by him will themselves possess the earth, But those upon whom evil is called by him will be cut off. 27 Turn away from what is bad and do what is good, And so reside to time indefinite. 28 For Jehovah is a lover of justice, And he will not leave his loyal ones. To time indefinite they will certainly be guarded; But as for the offspring of the wicked ones, they will indeed be cut off. 29 The righteous themselves will possess the earth, And they will reside forever upon it. 34 Hope in Jehovah and keep his way, And he will exalt you to take possession of the earth.

EVERYTHING???

Please, before you start in on me... I like federer, I do. He's a nice guy and I'm glad that he's doing so well and everything... but he wins everything! Last season I hardly watched any tournaments with him playing - just because I already knew who was going to win. What's the point in watching if you know what the outcome will be? Yeah, there might be some great shots in the middle, but if you happen to have a favorite player other than Federer, like Roddick, Blake, even Safin... then you already know how it ends.

Anyone agree or am I on my own here?

Hello, my name is Elizabeth, and I am currently a junior in high school. It seems that after my sophomore year, my life has been put on hold... as if I'm just waiting. I am half way through my junior year now, and I'm taking as many advanced courses as possible. But quite frankly, I feel I got the short end with my school because we didn't have the qualified teachers for certain courses. My dream used to be to be valedictorian, but in the past year and a half, I've been thinking more long term.

I earn a 4.0 on a 4.0 scale and have never had anything less than an A. I love my friends to death, but the benefits of starting college early are out-weighing those of my senior year. And honestly, I'm dying to begin "life."

I'm open to any summer courses I'd have to take or after school classes--anything--because I feel that in the long term it'll be worth it.

Is this a possibility for me, and if so, how can I go about doing this?

Any and all advice is appreciated..Thanks

I don't know...I could be wrong, but it's so strange for me to believe that Saddam with all his wealth and power was caught in a hole unshaven and dirty. I just think that a man of his stature and especially with his wealth could have escaped anywhere he wanted...even made a living underground; he could have seeked refuge with his powerful friends as well. Another thing....we are aware that Saddam had many look-alikes...again with the kind of money he had he could have paid for someone to have some type of surgery to look identical to him. I know that the government examined every possible detail of the Saddam we captured to make sure he was in fact the real one....but perhaps they could have lied??.....I mean....our government hasn't been very honest in the past.....this could be just another hoax......just what I think....

My oldest cat (Cleo) just recently got attacked by a dog. She's still recuperating, but will be fine. The problem is with my other cat (Caly). Right after we brought Cleo home from the vet, Caly was scared to death of her. They used to be best buds, but now if Caly gets anywhere near Cleo she starts hissing and growling. Cleo is on some different medications that make her drowsy, so she can't really defend herself when Caly tries to attack.

Is this a normal reaction for Caly to have? If so, will she go back to accepting Cleo again?

I just have a quick question... I am currently 14weeks and 3 days pregnant and at the beginning of my pregnancy my morning sickness consisted of just severe nasuea but never vomiting.. well the last 3-4 weeks I havent felt nasueas at all and been feeling pretty good other than an upper respiratory infection... Well the last 4 days I have been getting that nasty nasueas feeling again!!!! I thought this was the time where you are suppose to start feeling really good?? Does this mean there is something wrong or is it possible for this to be reoccuring to me??? Just curious if anyone else experienced this.. Thanks for the help
