I only do a couple of questions a day that interest me, or seem to be getting some misleading or incorrect responses, or is something I'm unusually well-versed in, so I sometimes spend enough time for it to look like a lot of "cutnpaste". When I do "cutnpaste" tho, I put it in quotes and name the source, often wikipedia. BTW, part of the reason I enjoy responding is that it sometimes makes a good excuse to research some area of interest, or at least verify or improve what I know about one.

I typically answer interesting questions about which I have a lot of my own acquired knowledge, so most of my longest answers are my own. If I cut and paste, it's usually something I feel like the user will need me to back up with a resource, and/or something that isn't easily located within a link I might provide. I do feel it's important to distinguish what is your own, and what was resourced elsewhere.

Usually they copy and paste as it is easier than typing in your own knowledge.
