More meaningful than what? Than it was before? You could try to accomplish some things. Perhaps do good works for charities. Be a big brother or sister. Something like that.

The answer depends on what is meaningful to you.
If you find your meaning in Spirituality, than focus on that. Do not let a day pass by without studying texts, prayer, and contemplation.
If you find your meaning in your occupation, than focus on that.
If your meaning is derived from relationships, than focus on deepening the relationships you already have, and if you don't have enough, than consider meeting a few new people.
Some people have found great benefit by practicing meditation, yoga, and/or martial arts.
I would also recommend trying to streamline your lifestyle. Is your house cluttered with all kinds of materialistic things that you don't really need? Give what you don't need to the poor, and rid yourself of the clutter.
Treat the earth with respect by walking or biking where possible, and streamlining your errands that must be done in a car. If you must drive to work, consider carpooling. Try going to one of those sites where you can calculate your carbon emissions, and follow its advice for reducting them.
Pick a cause that you particularly believe in to advocate for, or try volunteering. If you have enough free time, consider becoming a CASA volunteer.
To be particularly effective, you might consider a multi-modal approach with any of the above suggestions that really resonate for you.

what one really needs to make life-style meaningful is a will to make things better even in the harshest of situations. the attitude matters, no matter what. life will never be fair..yet being strong or maintaining composure will make life worth living.

That depends on what kind of life style you're talking about. I've had a pretty good life style ever since I realized God had more time and resources to deal with my problems than I did, so I turned my problems over to Him and forgot about it. I'm not saying my life has been perfect, I've been dealing with medical problems, but at least I know everything's under control and life is cool knowing that.

Real meaning in life, real fulfillment occurs by putting others ahead of yourself. In today's "me first" society, we've placed too much emphasis on ourselves, our feelings, our self-esteem, our entertainment and pleasure, food, clothes, shelter, sex, etc... Look in the self-help section of your library sometime (Dewey #158.1) and check out the titles. For example: Self Matters by Dr. Phil...
We do matter, but when we focus so heavily on ourselves, we easily forget others.
The answer to today's narcissism & selfishness is to volunteer your time and efforts, give to others who are in need, show compassion even when it's difficult at times, learn to love when you want to hate.
A lot of these things are Christian principles, but moreover they're just good common sense and if practiced, will build strength, confidence, maturity and real character. There are lots of great charities out there who need help. The Red Cross, UNICEF, World Vision, Salvation Army, Goodwill Industries, Habitat for Humanity, M2 Prison Visitation, Big Brother, YMCA. You probably have programs at your local church and may not even know it.
Start small and see what happens. What have you got to lose? 2 hours a week? Most of us spend much more time than that watching TV in a day.

For me I made my life more meaningful was by being my authentic self. Being my own person. Not trying to be someone or something I wasn't. Not trying to please others, or fix others.
I have worked on my creativity. Been more me than ever. The rest of life falls in to place.
