OK, first of all, the basics a guy has is having sex, it's really the only thing he wants in the first place, but as you said, there are exceptions to guys, some have gained quite a bit of intelligence and put beauty either aside or as a fraction of necessity. But as for my three most important qualities are, fun to be with, intelligent, and has both inner and outer beauty.

Mostly because they are deluding themselves about it: it's ok, I am still sexy (not a chance...) no one can really notice it (yes they can...) it's not my fault, I don't eat much (yes they do and they don't exercise...) They don't like any wake-up call that threatens their level of self delusion. If a partner has a GENUINE medical problem that incurs weight gain, then a man should support her and encourage her. When her weight gain is due to a lack of self control, over indulgence, refusal to exercise, and denial is her only response, then how can any man respect her? It is hard to keep loving someone once respect is gone. Many men's partners have such a low level of sexual attraction left that the only way their men can indulge in sex is by use of things like Viagra/Cialis etc. The woman can't turn him on, he need chemicals or drugs to do what an attractive woman does effortlessly. Viagra isn't a sex aid for men - it is for overweight, sexually unattractive women.

careful but brave
and you have mentioned it as exceptions. But exceptions is a wrong utter for this occasion, Cos think you have met only men who are such type :-) Just kidding...... Yes there are people who really love, care and they thing more than anything in this world... add me one in that group...
