I had my Ford Focus 1.6 TDCi serviced last week for the first time and when I checked the oil today it was black. After calling the dealership they told me the oil can get black after a few hours. Is this true or have they simply topped up the old oil? I had done 15k miles in 8 months and the service was due after 12.5k but I don't see how this can make a huge difference! Any help much appreciated.

What is your opinion on this? My father feels as if I am a "guest" in his house and should ask when I want some food or something to drink. I find this appalling. Yes, I agree that I no longer live under his roof but his home will always be "home" to me. I think that it is almost degrading that makes me feel this way. This was a rule in the house that all of us children observed growing up and I can understand that because we would have eaten them out of the house but I am an adult now. When my children come to my house, I do not make them ask for anything. What is mine is theirs and they can have anything they want! Please share your thoughts and views. Thanks.

this noise occurs even when the laptop has been totally shutdown. It is almost like some sort of alarm. Does anyone know why this is happening and what I can do to correct it/switch it off?

so the other day right b4 high svhool let out for christmas, i was in the weight room with a couple football players. well we were working out and all that and wen we finished we all took showers. so wen we got out and i wasnt dress yet, one of my friends(black dude) comes up behind me and ,just playin, acts like hes gonnas **** me. however, he accidently slips and his penis actually went in my butt. i punched him right in he jaw. but still, im really pissed and alot of ppl at school know bout it. and likeeveryone is laughing bout it. how can i get it to just end?

it seems to me that most chinese students do maths much better than local students, do you know why? My understanding is that they memorize well, they memorize everything. Welcome suggestion from other teachers.

My boyfriend has a felony on his record (burglary) and he would like to get it sealed. He committed this crime back when he was 17 and has since learned his lesson and turned his life around. He will be receiving his associates in Biology in the Spring and will begin working on his bachelors in Biology in the Fall. His goal is to become a High School Biology teacher for intercity kids in Chicago. If he were to go through the process of getting a clemency, would he still be able to be a teacher? I think that getting a clemency prevents employers from seeing your record, but I'm not sure if that stops schools from seeing them. Does anyone know how long the process will take? Or if he really will even be able to get a job as a teacher? Thank you for any advice you can give!
