What with some planets being downgraded to asteroids, and some asteroids being upgraded to planets, does anyone know the actual current number of planets in the solar system? Last I heard, they dropped Pluto because its too small... and then there's a planet further away that Pluto that is really big (Planet X???). Thanks for helping clear this up. If there really ARE new planets, maybe we'll have to re-write the rhyme for remembering the order!

Is this taking the whole Santa thing too far?

http://tech.yahoo.com/blogs/devlin/5847

I can understand the "NORAD tracking Santa" or old broadcasts of "Well, kids, we just got a report from the airport of a sleigh and eight tiny reigndeer. Time for bed"

But web cams? Isn't that taking it too far?

And, on another note, who now is going to check out the Santa-cams this year?

Alright yahoo-ers. Answers please.

My sister has taken it upon herself (and on behalf of our entire family) to tell me yesterday that I am "the" problem in our family, and no one likes it when I'm at family functions. I already know why - it's because I'm the only sibling who's divorced and didn't immediately re-marry a man to help take care of me and my children. This problem is solved - I will not attend family functions.

However, my question / problem is this: I've already bought her family gifts and am still planning to send them. I don't want gifts from her - period. If I receive any should I send them back? Should I keep them? Should I throw the box in the attic and forget about it?

Facts: TP is a U.S. Citizen with some U.S. Income. He has a business in Italy (which if he ran in the U.S. would be a Sch. C with a net loss of 20k). He loses 20k in the business in Italy. Is there any reason he would not be able to deduct the loss on his U.S. return?

I know this sounds weird, but I want to make my computer crash.
My company gives me a company laptop and I want their new one. The only way to get a new one is if this one is broken.
SO, is there a way to make my laptop crash, so that the IT department will know that I didn't purposely destroy it-aka throw it out the window?
And, please, no links to websites!

These are the specs:
Dell Computer, Intel Pentium Processor 1.86 ghz
782 mhz, 512 mb of ram
Microsoft Windows XP
Pro version 2002

My workplace toilets are really scummy and smelly. Most of the time I try and hold it until I get home because there is all kinds of nastiness on the toilet seats. When I go, I never sit on the seat anyway as I'm worried I'll catch something. Someone told me this was impossible and you can't catch STI's from the toilet seat. Is that right or am I right not to sit on the seat?

My 16 year old daughter is dating a boy (same age) in her school. I do not let them do anything together without an adult present. His parents think I am being too over protective, saying that their son is trust worthy. Well, so is my daughter but that doesn't mean that they can't get caught up in the moment so to speak. I was a young mother (18) and I talk to my children about waiting util they are married all the time and I do trust them I just want to make sure that they don't make the same mistakes that I did. What is yor opinion on the subject? Do you think I'm being too protective and should let her go out alone with him? (I'm still not going to , just wanted to see what others thought :)
