Eggnog is a thick, sweet, heavy beverage, so if you have a sensitive stomach and you drink too much, sure, you might feel ill or even throw up. If you limit your consumption by just drinking a small glass at a time, you should be okay. Like someone else said, "everything in moderation".

I think throwing eggnog in people's faces is a little far. Just tell them not to get you anything next year because you'll like it more. Or, better yet, just hint at something they *can* get you that they'd like. I'd say that's a slightly more productive way of helping them "learn for next year". Christmas is just as much about giving as it is receiving though, so I have to say I think you've rather missed the point.

Yes eggnog makes you throw up, it did that to me once when I was younger. It might've been a coincidence I'm not sure. It was a store bought kind not a homemade eggnog. It was fresh but still made me puke once.

eggnog is very delicious! its made with raw eggs and milk tho which both can go bad if its old... so either make sure its fresh & store bought or try some yummy soy egg nog! its much healthier and doesn't taste quite so thick.

Everything in moderation. You can't drink a gallon of milk in an hour w/o puking. A guy tried to to do it on a local radio station.

I drink eggnog during the holidays, and have had no problem with it.

If it's gone "bad", sure you can get sick from it (especially the homemade kind which can use raw eggs...risk of salmonella). And if someone put alcohol in it...watch out.
