I was just thinking that i'm really glad i stumbled upon Yahoo! Answers, my husband and i have been TTC for 14 months, and i felt so alone in the world...but then i was surfing a couple of days ago and i found this site, it's really great to know there are other ppl out there going through the same thing. I do surveys that say I am entered into lottery drawings so I hate to just ignore them. I am leary of these because they say they are from Microsoft yet are from the UK....Not the United States. Is there some way I can find out if they are legitimate? They have 2 different ways to get the money. Ask for my address and they will send a check or direct deposit it into my account

World Literature was undoubtedly one of my favorite courses this semester. I enjoyed it more than I could have imagined and I learnt more than I would have expected to. Before taking this course I was not too fond of reading literature; but thanks to it I realized how interesting reading a literary text is. The assignments and discussions also helped me to see some things in a different way and notice some others that would have not been able to find by myself.
There are a couple of things that definitely changed my way of thinking. One of them is what I thought about myths. I learnt that myths were very important to their civilizations as they set rules and beliefs. That can be compared to nowadays in how our laws and sacred texts regulate what we can and cannot do. Myths are clearly more than fictional stories; they were very helpful in the controlling of a society.

My wee boy Calum has been reading about whether you think Santa is real or not and his verdict is that he is real, but he might be the son or grandson of the original. However, he is still really curious about how Santa gets down our skinny Swiss chimney (and he does because he leaves a mess!!)

My boyfriend who blames me for an argument that we had almost two weeks ago? Now he is saying that he wont come see me again...even though we live in the same city. He says we are still together but he hardly calls and I havent seen him in almost two weeks. The thing is the fact that he is upset with me doesnt prevent him from asking me for things. He is still asking me to buy him stuff. He badly needs some winter clothing and he has asked me to purchase an expensive item for him. I bought it because I wanted to make him happy. He knows that if he needs anything all he has to do is ask. The day he told me he needed this item I had it for him within a few hours. But my buying him this still hasnt changed the way he is acting toward me. I thought maybe it would mean we were back on good terms but no. He said thank you for what I purchased but he is still blaming me& will hardly talk to me. What do I do now if he just wont let it go?

There were 2 guys that were going to a costume party for Halloween, but it was a themed party. You had to come dressed as an emotion. For instance, one woman had worn all pink with a feather boa and she was "tickled pink".

Well the host of the party answers the door to see these 2 men standing there both stark naked. One had his penis in a bowl of custard and the other had a pear on his penis. The host is outraged and says "Don't you known this is an emotion costume party? You're not dressed up"

One of the men says "Oh to the contrary, we are dressed as emotions. I am f@#$ing disgusted and my friend has come in despair."
