I think this may be the best question I've seen asked on here.

As a commercial venture, bottled love would sell like hot cakes but in order to do this you would need a fairly pure source which would involve industrially milking the emotions of nuns or children - probably some kind of breach of trading standards there.

Everybody could trade between themselves on e-motion-bay but there would be a surplus of anger, self-loathing, despair and bereavement that would require a safe means of disposal, else there could be a environmental disaster on our hands similar in nature to the river of pink slime that threatened New York in Ghostbusters 2 before Venkman, Stantz, Spengler and Zeddmore intervened to save the day!

At Christmas when everyone is usually more happy, there may be sudden surges in anger as infuriated couples across the world receive the gift of bottled 'apathy for the size of your body parts'!

Bottled humility would be a key ingredient in Jamie Oliver's recipe for Humble Pie, presumably.

My own contribution would be bottling up 'don't give a shite what I look like' for export to the lucrative US market.

Keep asking your questions as they give me something challenging to think about other than concrete technology or nuclear engineering!

I'd bottle up empathy (cause it would make a bundle in todays world) but it looks like Geoffhubb has trademarked it ...

soooooooo .... i'll go for humour or passion .... with a capital P though.

I would also consider bottling maturity, confidence, or the feeling of knowing yourself.

I could go on 4ever here

I think that I would like to have a machine that bottles emotions for you. This machine can be used for things like job interviews and meeting with board members, you can just hook up the machine and get rid of the fear, anxiety and worry of the meeting then get rid of it. I am not sure the emotions themselves would sell well on the market but it would be nice to be able to get rid of them when you want too.

Lonelyness.
Shyness.
My fear of human beings especialy men. All of my nergative feelings.
Why would I give that all away?
B/c then I would be confident. Maybe for once in my life have a boyfriend. I would let someone else deal with all the crap. I could be able to intimadate people. Also I would be happy.

I would bottle up "Empathy"... I would also give it away for free, as long as one promised to use it for good in the world... Do you feel misunderstood? Then, here ya go! ...give a sip of this to the person you want understanding from... They will see and feel things your way, with no chance of your feelings getting "Lost in translation" by your words. That way, when you want someone to know you love them, they'll hear it "their way", instead of misunderstanding... Are you angry with someone? They can sip this, and see the problem from your point of view! (But be gracious when they apologize, ok? ;-)

I'd bottle up the feeling of having been betrayed by someone you've given everything to. I think if people knew how badly it hurts to be the victim of a cheating spouse, then there would be much less of it going around.

I would bottle hope, because with out hope all is lost. the kind of feeling that you get the first time that something makes you really happy after just having gone through the worst experience of your life

i would prolly bottle up all my anger and hurt... i have lost a best friend 2 years ago, got molested when i was 7 two different times. and even seen my lil sister go threw the same crap i did. then i had to see my sister go into cps(child protection services) and she wasnt even my real sister. i seen her get beat all he time and the 5'os(cops) wouldnt do crap about it. i had to watch my father go and have a heart attack. i done stuff that people wont ever talk to me about. and my b/f doesnt even want to spend money on our child i am pregnant with bit i love him and i cant let him go.

I would have to bottle up Jealousy! It just gets in the way and it can hurt a lot of good relationships

I would bottle up the feeling of love... then i'd always have that to carry for others to have all at once but not for me to sell, that would be something I would give away...
