Those are junk/spam that keeps coming on everyone's mail. With the emails stating the lotteries won on my name, I would be owning the galaxy right now. Its rubbish. You could get them verified, I wouldnt know how its done where you live. But one things for sure, read the mail, and when you click on it, the next thing they tell you is to pay up some amount, and ask for your credit card number, and other details, which ofcourse you know that you shouldnt. I know cos' some of them looked so genuine, and I have not participated in any lottery draws, but they looked genuine enough for me to just open and see, and there, I got my answer. I have been deleting such mails ever since.
But then, hope you do win a lottery, the real one, one day. Let me know when you do...

Simplest way to tell if they're legitimate comes down to economics. Did you *pay money* to enter into a drawing? At the time you paid that money, did you receive a ticket or number?
It doesn't count if you only get your ticket number when you 'win'.
Lotteries work because a large number of people put a small amount of money into a pool, and then the entire pool goes to a small number of people. In other words, a million people put one dollar in, then one person wins $500,000 and the rest goes to those who run the lottery. The rest of the million people get 'Better luck next time'.
I did surveys for a little while and never saw a dime. The best I got were coupons for products they wanted me to buy. No money in, no money out.
And *never* give your bank account number to someone you don't know.

No, this is a scam.
The UK lottery is the olders trick in the book.
If you give them your bank account, they will clean you out!
And also they will tell you that you need to send money to cover some costs.
I used to work at a bank, and people would come in trying to cash checks from the UK and they turned out to be fake.
If you are unsure, I suggest going to your bank and they will tell you horror stories about the UK lottery.

Run!!!! Never ever give out your banking info to a faceless web address. If it was legit they would have the resources to your home address and send you documentation via certified mail.
