here's the problem.just 2 days before,i told my 3 month crush that i like him & he replied with a "i would have said yes,but i don't want to be in a relationship right now & i like someone else".

bear in mind that i was planning everything to the last detail & ALL my friends knew abt it(my friends are his friends too).it was supposed to be special cos mainly i thought he liked me too,by the way he behaved around me.

today,i just got to know that almost all my friends knew abt this 'other gal he likes' & they never even told me abt it.not even a hint(while all the time,i was constantly talking abt him).

i mean,i'm not a person who likes regretting,that's why i always tell a guy if i like him.but this REALLY hurt me now.i can't believe my friends knew abt this all along & never told me.

did i Really make a fool out of myself this time?

I bid on an item, was up to two months late in paying, lots of reasons not needed, had seller just cancelled bid i would have understaood, however i finally notiied her that i had send the check, and watching it, the day after the check cleared my bank, she cancelled the bid, taking money without sending the item is not legal is it? Cancelling the transaction should have been done much earlier, and before i sent the money, but once the money was sent and she didnt relist the item, she ws holiding it, so she said. ANY legal action i can initiaite? thanks.

I bought my laptop a month ago and as soon as I first opened it, I noticed a single dead pixel. Basically it looks like a star in the center of the screen.

The store would have gladly given me a new laptop (no questions asked) but it was outside of their 14-day return policy. They sent it back to the manufacturer (Toshiba) who sent it back two weeks later saying there was nothing wrong with it.

I read the manufacturer's warranty and apparently it only covers defects in excess of five pixels. That basically means that you could have up to five dead pixels (which would make your laptop a worthless piece of camel manure) and the manufacturer won't budge.

The other frustrating part about this is that I bought the one-year store warranty which is supposed to cover even damage caused even through my own fault (e.g. beverage spills).

I just want to make sure that there's nothing else I can do and Toshiba isn't screwing me ("sodomizing me" may be a more accurate term...)

We as a people are so dependent on technology that we would be in utter distress without some things. I say if you took away all fuel (gasoline,diesel and fuel oil) we would be in a total clusterf**k because we need to get to work,heat our homes...and truckers need the diesel to get trucking(on that note....w/o truckers we wouldn't eat because we are dependent on people providing our food)....any insight?

Theoretical Question about water flow. Say I have 3/4 inch water lines in my house. I want to connect a new faucet 15 feet away from these lines. The faucet uses 1/2 inch lines. Does it matter where along that 15 feet that the transition from 3/4 inch to 1/2 inch is made? Will the amount of water output at the faucet change depending on where the transition is made?

Honestly, I see quite a few girls at my school who used to have nice curly hair, and now they're trying to make it so straight. I don't get it. When I go on Yahoo answers I see quite a lot of people who claim they have straight hair and say they'd rather have curly hair. So why do those girls try so hard to get their hair so sraight?
