if the meteorite that struck the planet earth a 600billion years ago couldn't have wiped out the dinosaurous race in the world could they have ruled over planet earth right now ?and also are they really equal to humans in the terms of intelligeence???

My stepmother and I do not get along. Everything she says seems to be negative, and she always has to complain about what she is given or just her surroundings in general. Many times I have gone out of my way to do something I thought she might like and it seems like she just can't accept me for who I am. She is a spiritualist, they are usually happy people. she goes to church and teaches classes about getting what you want being happy and stressfree etc. but then lives the opposite. This is why I avoid her as to not cause arguments. I occasionally have a messy room, or forget to bring down my laundry, i might leave the bedroom door open and the cat might lay on my bed. I dont normally have time enough between school and work to do dishes or other chores around the house. though i do mine. I'm a high school student graduating with the class ahead of her this year. Im working hard and im very stressed. what should i do?

I've got 2 toddlers so my laptop screen is constantly being smeared by yoghurty little fingers and snot and old food. Does anybody know a method of cleaning that doesn't leave horrible streaks?

My son is friends with a little boy "peter" he comes from a large family (6 others) and doesnt seem to have much in the way of toys clothes ect.The parents are how do i say bit on the rough side!!theyre quite tough with the kids eg smacking them on the head if they do something wrong(they bit scary actually i wouldnt want to get on the wrong side of them)he,s a lovely little guy but came to the door for my son yesterday with a thin jacket that you could shoot peas through. (we live in scotland)He came in to wait and was sitting shaking with the cold. I have another friend who has twin boys and she gives me a lot of clothes theyve outgrown.Was wondering how to ask this mother if she wants them without offending.Ended up giving him one of my sons jumpers to wear to school and he was so grateful i had a lump in my throat.Told him if he liked it that much he could keep it as my son never wears it which wasnt true.Now worried about what he said about jumper when he went home.any advice ??

My 6 yo loved the movie and really wants one for Christmas. She actually wrote Santa saying that was the only thing she wanted! I didn't see the movie myself so I'm not sure what it looks like, but she keeps talking about a girl and a pink snowman.

I'm not saying it's not good, I'm just saying it's fake, and sports is supposed to have a winner and a loser, and it's not supposed to be decided who wins in advance. Also, people on Yahoo Answers say "Well if you think that wrestling is fake, then why do you watch action movies, they're fake too, so wrestling is a sport". That makes no sense at all!!! Are you saying that ACTING SHOULD BECOME A SPORT??? It doesn't even deserve a category in the sports section on Yahoo Answers, or anything else with sports. Boxing is a sport, it requires so much strenght, and it's not fake.

My truck manual says "use only MERCON ATF." My local (Bamberg, Germany) AAFES Car Care Center sold me Mobile ATF *transmission fluid,* said that was correct. They sell 3 different kinds of normal power steering fluid that all state will work in Fords.

ive recently discovered that i have endometriosis. my dr has suggested starting hormone pills. what kinds of effects will i have? low sex drive? weight gain? i will put up with the severe cramps w/ pain killers if i have to. Dr also suggested surgery, has anyone ever had surgery to remove growths?

They are coming over to babysit my 2 1/2 month old baby tonight. They are coming over at 7:00 and her bedtime is 8:00. We have been doing a bedtime routine (bath, bottle, story, snuggle, bed)..it takes about an hour and it's been working like a charm (sleeping through the night finally). I really want them to follow the routine, but that means they won't get much play time with her...they're going to be basically just coming over (driving 20 min) to put her to bed and sit around and wait for us to come home. Should I insist that they follow the routine? Or should I just let it go for one night and let them play with their grand daughter?

A friend of mine who is a Muslim whishes to change her religion to Christianity. She was earlier a Christian and had changed her religion to Islam when she got married. But now she is divorced. She stays in a Islamic country (U.A.E) and cannot change her religion from Islam to Christianity. Her family is christian and they wish to have her back. Can she travel on a visitor visa to Canada with her family, then change her religion from Islam to Christianity and apply for asylum along with her family to settle down there. Is this a successful possibility for her and her family.
