If the meteorite that struck the earth 600 billion years ago have not wiped out the dinosauraus race at that time, then also they would have became extinct by now. This is because the reason is the earth was much colder at that time before 600 billion years ago than the present temperature of the earth. So even if the meteorite that struck at that time was not able to wipe the entire dinousauraus race, the heat generated by the meteroite struck on earth would certainly have erased their presence on earth. This made the dinosauraus support sytems critical for their survival. Moreover all the dinousauras didn't die on the same day of the meteroite struck. It took nearly thousands of years till they became extinct. This is because the heat, once generated, can't escape out into the space. It keeps on reflecting back to earth, as you aware of Greenhouse Effect.
Regarding intelligence, since there was no sign of human presence at that time, there's actually no evidence whether the dinosauraus were equal to humans in terms of intelligence.
Good Question.....!

Sorry, I had to answer this question even though I didn't really know. Let's get some facts straight: The earth is about 4.7 billion years old and the dinosaurs died off about 67 million years ago. 600 billion years ago is far greater than the age given by the Big Bang Theory, which says the universe is 15 billion years old. The meteorite that struck Yucatan is usually given as the probable reason for the demise of the dinosaurs, but there is still some controversy over that point. The intelligence of dinosaurs cannot be ascertained since we have no living dinosaurs and no dinosaur brains with enough details to tell us of their intelligence, so any theories are speculation at best. I sometimes question the intelligence of humans, but let us not open that can of worms.

4.4 Ga is the generally accepted age of the Earth. Dinosaurs "rulled" the earth during their existence because they were the dominate non-plant life form. They ruled in terms of they preyed upon each other, other animals and ate the plants. As far as their intelligence there is no way to compare them to human intelligence. Many of their brains were very small compared to their body size. This would mean they lived mostly by instinct. They ate, drank, slept, and produced off spring. They did not have the ability to think, invent, create. If dinosaurs were still living they would be a threat to humans only because we would be another source of food. They were often bigger, stronger and hungrier than we are.
The Meteorite I think you are talking about happened approximately 65 Ma. It is called the Chicsulub Impact. The boundary is the K-T line between the Cretaceous and Tertiary geologic time periods. Mis-information has led to the belief that this meterorite collision with the Earth wiped out the dinosaurs. Most of the dinosaurs were extinct or well on their way to extinction prior to its impact. this is proven by the fossil record. The clay layer containing high amounts of Iridium is above most of the rock layers that contain dinosaur remains. This fact is ignored by many because it is an easily recognized time line between the age of dinosaurs and the age of mammals. Even scientists often use this division to mistakenly recognize the extinction of dinosaurs at this moment in time.

First of all, the planet is only roughly 4 billion years old.
Second, this question can not be answered for sure because they are not around today so there is no way of telling.
However, dinosaurs ruled over the Earth for many millions of years. Because of their long life range, they surely could have reached this day in age, granted environmental disasters and the environment cooperated.
After the dinosaurs went extinct (for whatever reason), new niches formed and the mammals filled these niches, thus essentially taking over the planet.
And for the intelligence idea. Human brains are very complex and when compared to fossilized dinosaur brains, are way more advanced in structure. Because of this, it is most likely that dinosaurs and humans were not equal in their intelligence.
Hope this helps!

About 65 million years ago the meteorite hit, not 600 billion years ago...intelligence is a human construct, so you can't really say they were "as smart" as us or equal in intelligence. They were, however, really good at what they did and dominated terrestrial systems for tens of millions of years. And at that time, mammals were only able to exist as small cryptic species that specialized in staying out of the way of dinosaurs. Mammals didn't radiate until the dinosaurs got unlucky with that meteor.

I think they would still rule the Earth and their intelligence would have progressed and probably made them even smarter than Humans. We wouldn't even have evolved the only reason we evolved is because our monkey ancestors saw that the dinosaurs weren't around so they came out of there holes.
NOTE:you got the date wrong said meteorite crashed 75 million years ago the universe didn't even exist 600 billion years ago.

No and no. I think the number you want is 60 Million. Dinosaur intelligence also can never be measured since there is only brain cavity size in the fossil record and brain size does not determine intelligence. But more than likely since we don't have evidence of them displaying intelligence we can tell they were likely as smart as animals are today.

They could or they couldn't. It all depended on what would happen next. if things would not change i.e climate would remain constant they could have survived. But the Earth has experienced severe climatic changes by now. They could have become extinct as dinosaurs cannot readily adapt at changing temperatures but mammals can. That's the reason we survived
If they would have survived then some of them would have definitely ruled us. For more info see this:

No the dinosaurs wouldn't be alive cause even thow they breath oxygen they need more carbon dioxide then humans do and no they were not as intelligent as human are because they only acted on instance witch are stay alive, eat, and have baby's
