Yes - I loved it. And I remember crying my eyes out when the phoenix went up in flames and reverted to an egg in the last episode. I also remember the Five Children and It series as well. I had a box set of E Nesbitt stories and I loved all of them.

Absolutely brilliant show as I remember! I am 38 now, and remember watching it as a kid, so the years may not be kind on it. But I certainly remember it being on, and trying to watch it every week (no video recorders back then!!).
Google it, it is on there, we did this a couple of years ago!!

Great show.
Not only remember it but bought the DVD!
You'll get it from Amazon.

Not as good as the original 5 Children and It though

I remember it well too.

It's funny how we remember old tv programmes as being absolutely fantastic, but when you see a replay they're all really crap!

The kids of today don't know how lucky they are.

(I'm sure my dad used to say that to me 30 odd years ago.lol)

I recall it vaguely - was NOT on a par with Box of Delights though - that was THE BEST!

I'm sure I'd still think that was good Obzi if I saw it again
;-)

yes it was one of my favourites! I am sure that is where JK got the inspiration for some of the Harry Potter stuff.
