If you had no idea why you were invited will you still go? Do you trust her not to put you in a uncomfortable situation? I trust her not too. What about you?

I don't have TV in my house, but from what I understand about her show, this is not a "Jerry Springer" type show. It's a show where she talks about positive things and tries to make the world a better place. If she picked me to go on the show, it would mean that I was either a subject matter expert or most likely somone close to a person's situation or someone she wanted to do something special for. Because her show covers a wide variety of issues, I would be honored to be selected for her show.

I would go on the show. I watch Oprah like every day and she inspires me to be a better person. Like the episodes when she goes to Africa, I want to cry. So yes, I trust Oprah as you do.

I would hope like heck she was trying to put me on the spot and put me in a compromising position! Otherwise, it'd be a very boring show.
When I took drama in high school, one exercise we did as acting pairs was that we had to do an entire impromptu skit, but we could have no disagreement or conflict. "Gee mom, you look ugly today." "Why thank you son! Oh, I killed the dog last night with a chain saw, I hope you don't mind." "Mind, I thought about it myself, you're a genius."
Notice... it... doesn't quite work...

Sure, why not? I have nothing to hide about myself. I am a muslim woman, and believe in brutal truth. No matter what the consequences, one should always be honest even if it hurts emotionally. If she invited me, I'd say "sure, but provide child care".
