I do not understand why in this country many people consider ginger as a big deal. There are countires that will worship your feet man! I had a ginger friend from north England and he found it a bit difficult to meet people in London but because at the time he only went for English blokes. But when he visited Italy, Canada, middle east, and south east asia people loved his hair and his looks. In a visit to Singapour the hair dresser kept his hair cuts to show his friends. But on a personal relationships, he found that mediteriean guys love ginger guys. If you believe there is someone for everyone, just need to look outside the small box as there are many fish in the sea and people always like someone who is different to them! I just did a search on gaydar.co.uk for guys between age of 19 - 40 who likes ginger guys in UK and it returned 183 guys...and I tell you some of them are really sexy guys as well! :0)

You have everything to live for, whats wrong with having ginger hair, whats wrong with been gay and what on earth is wrong with been a student, you have so much to look forward to so start living your life and make the most of every moment and stuff what anyone else thinks of you, be happy and be lucky always.

Sorry but you can't really complain.
Being a student means lazing about doing nothing because in general you can't even be bothered to work in stead you prefer to complain about being skint but you can still spend all your student loan and grant in the pub.
I was a student but also worked as much as possible so that I could actually enjoy myself, no need to complain ,find a job!!!!!!
Being ginger can be gorgeous and sexy, I'm ginger and so is my brother and we are both considered very good looking, try to make the best of yourself as in general the world doesn't revolve around your hair colour but I suppose if you are ugly or boring as well it may make it harder!!!!!
Sorry but I can't feel sorry for you for being gay you are so this is not something that you can change!!!!
CATCH YOUR SELF ON A LITTLE BIT AND TRY TO BE MORE POSITIVE ABOUT YOU AND YOUR LIFE BECAUSE IF YOU COMPLAIN LIKE THIS IN FRONT OF OTHERS THEN IT IS NO SURPRISE IF THEY DON'T FIND YOU ATTRACTIVE;
You see it's nothing to do with any of the problems you highlighted you just need to lighten up!!!!
Good luck anyway, growing up isn't always easy but try to make the best of yourself and maybe things will start to look up for you

Other gay ginger students? You obviously don't live in Scotland - four of my best friends are ginger! I'm not gay myself but maybe you're just making too big an issue out of it :-)

Don't be silly, you are puttting yourself into a sterotype, You really have to love yourself a bit more, get out and have some fun, I am sure there are lots of gay men at the university and maybe there are not so many red heads, lucky you, being gay and having red hair is not a disability, You can't change your sexuality, if you really don't like having red hair, (I lOVE IT) then go along to the hairdresser and see what they can do. Cheer up one day you will meet the man of your dreams, and have a successful career of the back of your degree. Good luck with things x

Have you tried a year abroad? The prejudice in the UK against ginger hair is absolutely overblown, unfounded and ridiculous. I still can't believe how bad it actually is.
If it's doing your head in, live somewhere else for a year or two, just so you can see that it's not universal. You might also enjoy living somewhere that isn't as uptight about its sexuality or physicality in general. This country is bizarre.

To make gay gingerbread men? I think you made all of those choices in life (okay its debatable if homosexuality is choice but anyway...) "You made you made your bed now you've got to lie in it" as the old saying goes. If you don't like being gay date women. If you don't like being ginger do some exercise and bulk up a bit. If you don't like being a student drop out and find something that you enjoy doing enough to make your life worthwhile to you. You can do it!
