We all have seen it when towards the end of the month or in the middle of the month all the cops are out setting up speed traps. Everyone knows that they have quotas for traffic tickets and the explanation that I found is that they have these quotas to ensure that the cops are doing their job and not just sitting around. The problem is that if there are not enough serious traffic violations, then they will start making them up and giving them to people who don't deserve them. I just dont understand how they can get away with this. Also, cops are supposed to be catching real criminals while doing speed traps but these criminals know not to break traffic laws and so the average hard working joe gets busted instead. Also, I have had a group of police oficers tell me that they could "beat me" if I did not cooperate with questioning. How are the police allowed to get away with this?

I have a chihuhua mix that just had her first litter of 3 puppies. She was taking care of them just fine for the first 2 or 3 days, but now she doesn't want to feed them or even be around them. She is constantly barking to be let out of the kennel, and when I let her out and she comes back in she hides and I have to force her to go back in with the puppies. I know first litters can be a problem for the mother to adjust to, but is there anything I can do to help the situation? Will it clear up on it's own? What signs should I watch for to know when/if I need to bottle feed them, and what should I give them if that is necessary?

M.P. Thompson, Modern Land Law:
"Under the Land Registration Act 2002, only legal easements will override a registered dispoistion (Land Registration Act, Sched. 1, para. 3; and Sched. 3, para 3)...... "

Land Registry Practice Guide 62 (March 2005):
"An easement (legal or equitable) expressly granted on or after 13 October 2003 over registered servient land cannot be an overriding interest".....(there is no reference for this in this practice guide however).

So is it just me, or is this contradicting? Are they, or are they not overriding interests? If they are, what is the reference for this?

Thankyou, very confused!

A close friend of mine told me today that last night her boyfriend of about 3 months came back to her place and said "I'm bored. You have 10 minutes to amuse me or I'm off".

If it had been me, he would have left 10 minutes later with a black eye.

What would you have done/said?

My mother in law is so jelous of my mother she goes out of her way to make things difficult for us. If my husband asks his mom what time she is doing thanksgiving she will make it an hr before my moms to make things difficult. She made our wedding day a mess she would comment on anything my mother did and it would turn into a selfish comment
