A close friend of mine told me today that last night her boyfriend of about 3 months came back to her place and said "I'm bored. You have 10 minutes to amuse me or I'm off".

If it had been me, he would have left 10 minutes later with a black eye.

What would you have done/said?

I don't think he was joking, or even drunk. And she is currently "in lurve" so didn't really take on board what he said till today - and now she's pretty upset.

And yes, he did stay so she must have "amused" him somehow - but I didn't enquire further. Ahem.

324332 (or whatever) - I have no idea, as usual, what you are on about. So difficult, isn't it, to insult people when you don't have even a basic grasp of the English language? Please leave me alone you silly girl

Alice - yes I had noticed that. He's cheating on both of us now, that dirty dog.

Donna you saucepot, thats a smouldering look.

Anyway i would have showed him how i could make a pair of Earrings using just his Testicles and some sellotape.

Sounds a right T.osser.

Liking what everyone has said. Hehe

Depends if he meant the relationship, or right then...

If the relationship then we could either talk about it, or he walk through the door, so he knows where it is... ;)

If it were right then, then I would have said he could have gone about it in a nicer way. Like, if he was bored, he could of come over, and not said anything, as actions speak louder than words, if you get what I mean...
Like before I’ve felt a little bored, so went over my b/f's house (as planned) and just started kissing him when he opened the door, rest you can guess... Much nicer way of going about it I thinks!!!

Either way I think he is a s.o.d for saying what he did!!!

Did he mean bored in the relationship or just bored in the moment?
If he meant bored in the relationship, I would have tried to talk to him about it. If that was the way he was going to bring up the toipc, chances are that no amount of talking would solve anything. I would have asked him to leave. He probably wouldn't have stayed 10 minutes.

However if he was just bored in the moment, I would have asked what he wanted to do. SUggest some things to do. Bowling, movie, something to curb the boredom.

I would have said
"Ok, well are you actually going to wait the ten minutes or can you leave now. I'd prefer the latter. K, bye. "

No one deserves to be with someone like that. The mere fact that he said that means that he doesnt' care at all for her and is just there to be "amused". What did he expect?

Never mind 10 minutes he'd off been booted out within 10 seconds, he sounds like a right d*ckhead.

I would have told him that if he is board at my place then that must mean that he is board with me and i would have kicked him out of my place and out of my life cause no gurl needs a guy telling her that when he goes to her house that he is board. Forget that. Find someone who has some respect...

I would have put his hand down his trousers and told him to play .. that usually does the trick for me. Very amusing to play with something so small and cute.

I would of stood there for 10 minutes telling him jokes then asked him to leave.
