I was starting to wake up when all of a sudden i felt like i was being watched so i opened my eyes and turned to the side of my bed when i seen a man standing there staring at me, as it clicked i turned the other way and jumped out of bed but when i looked around again he was gone, i searched the house hight and low but couldn't see anyone or find any doors unlocked so i was sure it wasn't someone off the street, it wasn't anyone i had even seen before either so i was a little confused, was it a ghost or was i still asleep?
Another time i was laying in the dark, when all of a sudden i got the feeling someone was there again, ( this happened in another place i was in) but since it was dark i couldn't see then my body felt really tight and it felt like i was being sat on, i wanted to scream but couldn't move i was so sceard, then as fast as it had happened it was gone, when i got up and turned on the light i still felt like someone had just sat on me is this a ghost or just a dream?

I highly recommend that you read "Visits From the Afterlife" by Sylvia Browne. She explains all about ghosts and spirits. It's fascinating!

I saw a shadow figure standing on my stairs this evening. This isn't the first time Ive had experiences like this. It is happen all the time. This weekend I have got a paranormal team doing an investigation here because I just HAVE to get to the bottom of this and find out what is going on. Ever since we moved here 11 months ago it has been almost every day things have been happening. It has really spooked my animals too.

Yes. I was advised by a friend to ask the spirit to either find a way of telling me what he/she wants or to just leave, It worked. I felt a sudden sensation of emptiness, i guess the spirit left.
But I have a good story about a spirit.
An hour or so after going to bed, I felt the blanket being pulled off my body. I grabbed the blanket and jumped awake. Nothing unusual and no one else in my room. Out of annoyance, I got up to get a glass of water and discovered that I had left on one of the burners on my stove. Something or someone was watching out for me,

Actually what you described is the original meaning for "nightmare" because in the middle ages they believed that the black horse of death was coming in and sitting upon the sleepers chest......The crushing feeling of the "night - mare." Look up the origins, learning can be fun. What you saw was a dream, and that's okay. What you experienced is described as "sleep paralysis" which is common. Don't worry so much, it was just a dream. be well.

Your going to have to try sleeping with the lights on for awhile. I think this will work. You have not said anything about a sighting during daylight. If you can't sleep with the light on change your bedroom furniture around. This will confuse any ghost. If all fails go or call your local priest and speak to him about it. Only if you are serious about this.
Good luck.

Sometimes spirits attach them selves to a person for reason that are still unknown to mankind. So if I were you I would try to find out why. Maybe you are a unique person that have the ability to see spirits, But it that were accurate than it would have started when you were a toddler. So if these incidents are just starting then I recommend that you start doing your research as to why. and try to rid yourself of this spirit present and try to form some type of barriers between you them.............................

It was not a ghost. It was a demon, possibly Satan himself. You should leave your apartment immediately and find a good Catholic church in which you can be directed to an exorcist who can cleanse your apartment and possibly yourself if you have not led a blameless life. You cannot fight this alone, you need the power of the forces of Heaven to assist you. I hope that a prayer circle can be assembled for you!

You were probably still asleep when you saw the man next to you. As for the time when you were in the dark...your mind plays tricks on you...when you start to feel scared, panic can set in...which feels as if someone is sitting on you - makes it hard to breathe.
basically, i think youre just freaking yourself out.

Do you feel insecure in your apartment, in your neighborhood? It could be a ghost, but it could also be your own feelings of vulnerability when you are asleep, especially if it has happened in other places (maybe places you were not sure about). I don't think ghosts stalk people, I think they are tied to a particular place.
